405 nm, ten nanometres wide, for the violet laser line
The violet diode at 405 nm has become one of the standard excitation lines in flow cytometry, and the filter that isolates it has to be narrow. A 10 nm bandwidth passes the line while rejecting the neighbouring channels, which is what keeps spillover out of the data.
This is an OEM Beckman Coulter part, new and unused. For anyone maintaining a Beckman cytometer, a spare optical filter is considerably cheaper bought now than ordered against a down instrument.
