Most optical power meters report a number in milliwatts and leave the wavelength to you, which matters because the detector's responsivity varies across the spectrum and an assumed wavelength quietly biases every reading. The OMM-6810B measures both, so the power figure is corrected against the wavelength actually present rather than one entered by hand.
It is built for semiconductor laser characterisation, high power pump modules and fibre lasers. This unit runs on 120 VAC.
