The BH2 is still working in laboratories four decades after it shipped, and the reason is mechanical rather than optical. The focus mechanism holds, the stage stays square, and parts remain available. Optically, SPlan is Olympus's flat-field semi-apochromat line, a clear step above the achromats that usually ship on a used stand at this price.
This configuration arrives with five objectives spanning 2x to 20x, a 1.25 NA Abbe condenser and WK 10X/20L eyepieces.

Tested and fully functional. Light scuffs and small marks are present on the beige housing; the black stage and control knobs show light handling marks. Photographs show the exact instrument you receive.
